Sunday Fun Day

  Our official anniversary was technically Sunday. We planned to bike on a bike path near our house but once we arrived we realized my bike had 2 flat tires and busted bike tubes!! Sad! So instead we decided to spend the day at Oktoberfest at Germania Park. They had a tug o war competition going on and one of our friends was partaking in the festivities. Our friend's team ended up taking 2nd place, not too shabby!! Before we left I made sure to enjoy a BIG pretzel.

   I tried a new recipe for a pasta dish for dinner which turned out to be average.

The main event was dessert.

  
  Following tradition we had the top tier of our wedding cake. D isn't particularly fond of regular cake so we served cheesecake at our wedding. We choose J. Annette's for our baker and couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. J.Annette's didn't want us to have to eat a year old cheesecake so we were given a fresh 6" strawberry marbled cheesecake for our one year anniversary. I love this tradition! The only cake we had at our wedding was the cake that was shoved in our faces.

Haha!

 For our anniversary D bought us tickets to see the Foo Fighters in Columbus! I can't wait, I have wanted to see the Foo Fighters forever! I love their new album!
